Role Overview
We’re seeking a driven, organized, and disciplined intern to join our team. Your primary
focus will be to support our market research efforts—identifying and engaging with university
stakeholders, coordinating interviews and surveys, and synthesizing insights—while also
contributing to other marketing activities (content creation, campaign tracking, and collateral
development).
Roles and Responsibilities
A. Market Research Support
● Identify and compile lists of potential contacts using online resources.
● Conduct secondary research to gather data on market trends, competitor
offerings, and customer preferences.
● Assist with designing and distributing surveys or questionnaires to targeted
audiences.
● Organize and maintain research data—logging outreach status, survey
responses, and interview notes.
● Summarize research findings into clear, concise reports highlighting key
insights and trends.
B. Interview & Survey Coordination
● Schedule and confirm interviews or focus groups; coordinate calendars and
send reminders.
● Support interviews by taking notes, ensuring recording quality (if applicable),
and following up with participants.
● Input raw data into structured formats and highlight recurring themes for team
discussion.
C. Marketing & Content Assistance
● Draft and edit blog posts, social media updates, or newsletter copy that reflect
research insights or thought leadership.
● Help create or update marketing collateral (e.g., one-pagers, slide decks) to
ensure messaging aligns with audience interests.
● Assist with planning and scheduling social media content, as well as
engaging with relevant online communities.
● Contribute to email campaign preparation: building contact lists, proofreading
copy, and tracking engagement metrics.
D. Project Coordination & Administration
● Maintain organized trackers for research and marketing tasks—deadlines,
next steps, and ownership.
● Attend virtual team check-ins to share progress, surface blockers, and
propose solutions.
● Handle ad hoc tasks as needed

Qualifications & Skills
● Innovative Research and Growth Methodologies: brainstorm and design creative
research methodologies to gain deeper insights as well as growth hacking tactics that
drive engagement.
● Strong research aptitude: comfortable sourcing information online, working with
spreadsheets or simple databases, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative
data.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to craft clear outreach
messages, summarize findings, and produce basic content.
● Highly organized and disciplined: able to manage multiple tasks independently, set
reminders, and meet deadlines.
● Proactive mindset: eager to identify gaps, suggest improvements, and take initiative
in both research and marketing activities.
● Remote work readiness: reliable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and
experience collaborating via tools such as video conferencing and cloud-based
document sharing.
● Basic marketing interest: familiarity with digital channels (e.g., email, social media)
and willingness to learn simple design tools for collateral creation (e.g., presentation
software).
● Tech-savvy: comfortable exploring new platforms and tools; familiarity with CRM or
analytics tools are a plus.
